EXCURSION PROPOSALS

- KALATHAS/ VENISELOS GRAVES -

Swimming at Kalathas beach or Marathi (around 8km from Captain MIchalis) and pilgrimage at the Veniselos (a great Greek statesman of the 20th century). Ice cream at the surrounding cafes and magnificent view of Chania city.

- GEORGIOUPOLIS/ KOURNAS LAKE -

Swimming at Georgioupolis and lunch at Kournas Lake, the only lake in Crete (around 30 km to the Rethymnon direction).

- RETHYMNO/ PREVELI -
Swimming at Preveli beach and dinner at tha small old port of Rethymno, on the way back (around 50 km from our hotel).

- THERISSO

Traditional amd historical village ot the mountains, with a magnificent route through a gorge. A paradise for meat-eaters. On this day, you will not go swimming!

- SAMARIA GORGE

For tough treckers, from Omalos plateau, walking throught the gorge for over 5 hours ending with a paradise swimming in Agia Roumeli - Sfakia. We propose booking from a tourist agency or use of the inter-city busses (KTEL).
